Maglor - Lors d’une intervention remarquée devant les Nations Unies, Dr. Abdul Basit Syed, Président de l’Organisation Mondiale pour l’Humanitaire (OMH), a exprimé un soutien ferme au Royaume du Maroc sur la question du Sahara. Son discours, à la fois clair et diplomatique, a mis en lumière la nécessité de la paix, de la stabilité et du respect des droits humains dans la région.
Dr. Syed a souligné l’urgence de rejeter toute forme de violence et a affirmé que la voie militaire adoptée par le Polisario est dépassée et n’a plus aucune légitimité auprès des Sahraouis. Il a rappelé que la majorité des populations sahraouies se considèrent désormais comme fières citoyennes du Maroc.
Le Président de l’OMH a dénoncé les conditions de vie difficiles des Sahraouis dans les camps de Tindouf, privés de logement, d’électricité, d’eau potable, de soins médicaux et d’accès à l’éducation. Il a insisté sur la nécessité d’une intervention urgente des Nations Unies pour protéger les civils réfugiés et mettre fin aux violations flagrantes des droits humains.
Dr. Syed a également présenté le Plan d’autonomie marocain comme la solution politique pacifique la plus réaliste pour la région. Il a rappelé que ce plan bénéficie du soutien d’une majorité de pays occidentaux, tels que les États-Unis, le Royaume-Uni, la France et l’Espagne, ainsi que de nombreuses nations en développement.
« Aucun mouvement séparatiste ou terroriste armé ne devrait pouvoir défier un gouvernement démocratiquement élu », a-t-il affirmé, appelant la communauté internationale à agir avec responsabilité et courage.

Enfin, Dr. Syed a réaffirmé que le Sahara est partie intégrante du Royaume du Maroc et que le peuple sahraoui est marocain par l’histoire, la nationalité et la famille. Il a conclu son intervention par un hommage au Roi Mohammed VI et à la stabilité que le Maroc apporte à toute la région.
Cette prise de position souligne l’importance d’une solution politique pacifique et met en avant le rôle du Plan d’autonomie marocain comme fondement d’une paix durable au Sahara.

Honourable Representatives of the United Nation, Ladies and Gentlemen,
Peace is beautiful embrace it, let’s unite to reject violence in any form,
On the role of the United Nations. Its brutally simple: it’s now or never.” The violent path of Polisario has no place in this modern world. Morocco’s Autonomy Plan is the best peaceful political solution. It “inaugurates a new era in which there is room for everyone, and in which everyone can prosper in peace and harmony.”
For more than half a century, under the Polisario abuse, the Sahrawis have been detained in the tindouf camps without a home, electricity, clean water, medical care or right to good education, our consciousness should be challenged seeing this suffering of the people in these camps.
Polisario need to understand, their military path is over, and they have lost all credibility and claim to represent the Sahrawis. Majority of Saharawi now consider themselves as proud citizens of Morocco.
Polisario today represents only a fraction of the population, even this fraction of people will be departing them soon if they continue on this violent path.
Innocent people under Polisario have only seen, destruction and ruins, in this last fifty years of being in exile. Morocco autonomy plan should be explored as a realistic starting point for compromise and peace.
Polisario organisation has failed to achieve any of its founding goals, over the past five decades of struggle. Morocco’s Autonomy Plan is both “brave” and “right,”
Polisario no longer speaks for all Sahrawis. Almost all of the international support from the western countries like USA, UK, France, Spain and the developing nations is for Morocco’s Autonomy Plan. “This should encourage the Security Council to move forward in Recognising Morocco Sahara Autonomy plan.
No separatist, terrorist movement of mercenaries trained and armed, should be in a position to combat the forces of Democratically elected Government. The Sahrawis living in the camps are victims of frequent shootings, intimidations and violent repressions. These are flagrant violations of the most fundamental human rights, that “can no longer be ignored. I demand the immediate intervention of UN to protect civilian refugees held hostage by the polisario. History will not be lenient with those who, at a crucial moment like this, choose silence or inaction.”
Morocco is a great nation giving dignity and stability to the entire region and its people, this includes the Sahrawi population too as Morocco is Sahara- Sahara is Morocco.
Sahrawi people are Moroccans by History, Nationality, Blood and Family and their land has always remained with Morocco in the past, present and it will be in the future, Long Live The King Mohammed VI and Morocco.
