Maglor – Le World Humanitarian Drive (WHD), organisation internationale reconnue pour son engagement en faveur de la paix et du développement, a marqué une nouvelle étape dans la coopération mondiale en organisant la 4e édition du “Trilateral Global Summit 2025”, les 28 et 29 octobre, au Royal Society of Arts et à la Chambre des Lords du Parlement britannique.
Fondé par le Dr Abdul Basit Syed FRSA, figure influente et ardent défenseur de la paix, de l’unité et de l’égalité des chances, le WHD bénéficie du statut consultatif spécial auprès des Nations Unies. Depuis plusieurs années, le Dr Syed mobilise des dirigeants de plus de cinquante pays autour d’initiatives concrètes dans les domaines de la paix, de l’éducation et du commerce équitable.
Un sommet placé sous le signe du dialogue et du commerce pour la paix
Le Trilateral Global Summit 2025 a réuni plus de 100 leaders internationaux issus de 33 pays, parmi lesquels d’anciens chefs d’État, des décideurs politiques, des journalistes, des investisseurs et des chefs d’entreprise. Tous ont échangé autour d’un thème central : faire du commerce et de la coopération économique des leviers durables pour la paix mondiale.

Le sommet a notamment mis en avant le programme phare du WHD, “Trade 4 Peace” (T4P), qui vise à bâtir une harmonie commerciale mondiale fondée sur la transparence, la coopération et l’inclusion. L’objectif : faire du commerce un outil de stabilité et de prospérité partagée.
Un hommage à l’excellence et à l’innovation mondiale
Le Prix pour l’ensemble d’une carrière (Lifetime Achievement Award) a été remis à M. Farooq Arjomand, cofondateur d’EMAAR Properties et directeur de DAMAC Properties (Émirats arabes unis), en reconnaissance de ses décennies d’excellence, d’innovation et de leadership dans le monde des affaires.
Lors du banquet d’ouverture, organisé le 28 octobre au Royal Society of Arts, le WHD a également mis à l’honneur les femmes du monde entier à travers un défilé de mode et des performances artistiques célébrant leur créativité, leur force et leur résilience. Cet événement, inclusif et inspirant, a rappelé le rôle essentiel des femmes dans la construction d’une société plus juste et plus équilibrée.
La modération du sommet a été assurée par la journaliste libano-australienne Daizy Gedeon, présidente du comité Trade 4 Peace au sein du WHD.
Les “Regal British Awards” : célébrer les figures du changement
La clôture du sommet, le 29 octobre à la Chambre des Lords, a été marquée par la prestigieuse cérémonie des “Regal British Awards”, présidée par la Rt. Hon. Baroness Verma. Ces distinctions honorent des personnalités internationales remarquables pour leurs contributions dans divers domaines.

The 4th Edition of the “Trilateral Global Summit 2025” is organised by the ‘World Humanitarian Drive’ (WHD) in London, at the Royal Society of Arts and The House of Lords, British Parliament on the 28th and 29th of October 2025.
The ‘World Humanitarian Drive’ (WHD) holds Special Consultative Status with the United Nations. WHD was founded by Dr Abdul Basit Syed FRSA, a global influencer campaigning for peace, unity, and equal access to opportunities. He has consistently engaged with leaders from over 50 countries to create international impact, advocating for initiatives in Peace, Education, and Trade Harmony worldwide.
The Trilateral Global Summit focuses on promoting the integration of the global economy and trade as pathways to peace. More than 100 global leaders and investors from over 33 countries — including former heads of state, bank CEOs, policymakers, journalists, corporate heads, and business leaders shared their ideas and visions during this two-day summit in London.

The Trilateral Global Summit also focuses on enhancing “Trade 4 Peace” (T4P) a flagship initiative of ‘World Humanitarian Drive’ (WHD). This summit aims to build trade harmony by breaking down silos, fostering interdisciplinary approaches, and leveraging the multilateral trading system to promote fair trade, strengthen global economies, and advance peace.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Mr Farooq Arjomand — Co-Founder of EMAAR Properties & Director of DAMAC Properties (UAE), in recognition of his decades of excellence, innovation, and commitment to driving progress in global business and pioneering economic initiatives across the UAE and beyond.
At the Opening Banquet of the summit, held on 28th October 2025 at the Royal Society of Arts, London, WHD hosted series of Entertainments, Performances and Fashion Show focused on women’s empowerment. The summit celebrated the strength, creativity, and resilience of women through diverse styles, inclusive body types, and designs promoting self-expression. The fashion show featured designers, artisans, and public figures using fashion as a platform to advocate for women’s rights, challenge restrictive norms, and inspire confidence and individuality. By highlighting the integral role of women in society, WHD’s “Trilateral Global Summit” serves as a powerful statement for equality and inclusion.
This summit was moderated by Ms Daizy Gedeon, a prominent Lebanese Australian Journalist, she’s currently serves as the Chair of the Trade 4 Peace Committee under WHD.
The prestigious ‘Regal British Awards’ were presented at the House of Lords, British Parliament, hosted by Rt. Hon. Baroness Verma on 29th October 2025. The awards honour distinguished global achievers across various fields.
